Welcome! My name is Guille Ibañez and I’m a Spanish film maker, based in Manchester, UK.
I have many years of experience working in the new media and film industries, and after gaining a Distinction on the MA Film & Media course at Sheffield Hallam University, I thought that I had something to offer in the audiovisual industry to my own customers.
I used the name of Libelula Films for a couple of years, and was able to improve my portfolio of work, gaining several prestigious customers. With the launch of Viva la zoom! I decided to bring a fresher name and attitude towards film making and video production. By that time, I had already created a network of freelancers and collaborators that form the structure of Viva la zoom! as it stands today.
Viva la zoom’s work is rooted in a passion for film, video and art in general. From Buñuel to Hitchcock, from Goya to Pollock, from Man Ray to Robert Frank, our interests cover many different media and disciplines but it’s film and video where the real passion lies. And this is the reason why I started Viva la zoom! to offer quality, originality and...passion for all I do.
